Who likes Movies?
There’s something about going to a movie, (in a REAL theatre) and letting yourself become absorbed in the story. It doesn’t really matter what type of movie it is, the only important part is that you want to see it. Personally, I’m a big fan of the “B” movie genre.
Give me a couple of Godzilla movies, and I’m all set!
But, we’ve all been to movies that didn’t stand up to the hype of the local newspaper movie review “expert”. And sometimes what a friend likes in a movie doesn’t exactly wind our watch in terms of movie entertainment.
I recently came across a personal blog of a filmmaker. Not only a maker of films, but also a teacher in the fine art of filmmaking at Columbia College in Chicago.
Who better than a filmmaker to let you know what’s worth seeing or not? Film reviews aside, he also gives us a glimpse inside his world. That of a filmmaker and filmmaking instructor.
