From the Washington Times:

MEXICO CITY (AP) , Mexico is calling on the United States to alter a plan to expand border fences designed to stem illegal immigration, saying the barriers would threaten migratory species accustomed to roaming freely across the frontier.

Which migratory species might the Mexican Government be referring too? Could it possibly be the two legged Mexican illegal alien species?

“Finning”, a subject that some of you may have already figured out is a crime that I feel very strongly about. For those of you that don’t already know, the “finning” industry targets sharks for their fins, a coveted soup ingredient that fetches high prices in China and other Asian countries.

The fins are cut off the shark, often while it is still alive, then discarded back into the sea. If it is still alive when discarded, it is doomed to die of starvation. This is a barbaric practice, and must be stopped.

My views and feelings towards “finning” are personal. I have been a diver all my life, and am a licensed SCUBA instructor. Throughout my diving experiences and career, I have had many encounters with various sharks in the oceans of this world. I have led “Shark Encounter” dives for divers, mostly tourists, that have wanted to get an up close and personal experience with these truly magnificent creatures of the ocean, while living in Central America.

I have also seen firsthand the carnage left behind by a “finning” expedition. Let me just say, it wasn’t pretty.

A Canadian filmmaker, Rob Stewart, has produced a documentary aimed at trying to raise awareness that sharks are being wiped out. His film is called “Sharkwater”. Reuters just did a story about his film. You can read it Here

LONDON (Associated Press) - An Iranian opposition group claimed Saturday that Iran’s capture of 15 British sailors and marines was planned in advance and carried out in retaliation for the U.N. sanctions imposed against the country, as an Iranian diplomat said the case had entered a legal phase.

The National Council of Resistance of Iran” the political wing of the Iranian MEK opposition group which is listed as a terrorist group by Britain, the U.S. and the European Union” said the British crew’s capture was planned in advance, but offered no evidence to support the claims.

Former Iranian President Mohammed Khatami told reporters on Saturday that he hopes the current standoff will be resolved peacefully “instead of facing a new disaster not only for Iranian-British relations, but for Iran internationally.”

As the reasons for the war on terror are becoming unraveled at an alarming pace, the political finger pointing and rhetoric are reaching “Pinocchio” proportions. Seemingly one lie that started this whole war/occupation nonsense in the first place, has evolved into a multi-country game of chicken. Who’s telling the truth? Who knows at this stage. But it looks as though things are going to get worse before they get better.

As China struggles with it’s image after countless news reports of tainted and poisoned food exports, it is now trying to profit from one thing they have plenty of, and that’s poo.

Yes, you heard me correctly. China’s food exports has recently been crap anyway, so now they want to market it properly, so people know exactly what they are getting. And this is just in time for the Olympics. Or rather it is because of the Olympics.

As the 2008 Olympics near, Chinese officials have come up with a grand scheme to profit from it. They have decided to make Olympic souvenirs made from poo! Not just any poo mind you, but real, authentic Panda Poo!

Researchers at a Wildlife research centre have started sculpting photo frames, book marks, fans and panda statues out of the 300 tonnes of poo that is produced annually by it’s 60 giant pandas. Holy crap, that’s a lotta poo!

So for the Olympics they have started molding the poo into statues of athletic pandas performing various Olympic sports.

Now I don’t know a lot about pandas, but one thing I do know is that they are NOT very athletic!

Now before you get on Alibaba.com and place your pre-order, there is one thing you should know. Jing Shimin, assistant to the director of the base, proudly declared that the souvenirs would be relatively odor-free.

“They don’t smell too bad because 70 percent of the dung is just remains of the bamboo that the pandas are unable to digest,” he told Xinhua news agency.

“Relatively?” Just what is he comparing the odor to?

Mr. McClellan you are being watched. Wherever you go, whatever you do, you will be scrutinized.

By your admission that you are a pedophile who likes to “troll for children” and post pictures and details on web sites of where the “best” places to see little girls in your area, you have declared war on yourself.

Even though you have no criminal record (yet?), and claim to never have touched a child in an inappropriate manner, your actions and words speak volumes as to the kind of person you are.

Up until today, you have been somewhat elusive, mostly living in your car, and living off of “public assistance, the kind where you’re not allowed to work.” Those days are gone, because of your public admission of being a pedophile. Wherever you “park” your home, you will be seen, watched, and observed, just like you secretly watch your unsuspecting young victims.

Every time you turn around, every time you enter a park, you will be watched, observed, and photographed, just like you secretly observe and photograph your unsuspecting young victims.

Every time you take a photograph, you will be photographed, and your picture published on the internet, with the time and location that your picture was taken, just like your unsuspecting victims that you “troll” for.

Yes, Mr. McClellan you are now in the public eye. You brought this upon yourself. Each time you go out in public, and “get the feeling you are being watched”, you will be. You are a menace to society, the lowest of the low.

Even though you have not broken a law, there are parents, concerned citizens, and law enforcement officials across the country who will be keeping a close eye on you to make sure you are stopped before you harm one of our children.

So Jack, here is your “15 minutes” of fame, everyday, all over the internet until you are no longer a threat to society. And remember, you are being watched.
