Well if that just doesn’t Fuel My Blog

1. Open eyes.

2. Check for feeling in toes and fingers.

3. Blink a few times, to make sure the peepers still focus.

4. Roll over; get out of bed remembering to listen for any new pops, squeaks or rattles of the bones that weren’t there the previous morning.

5. Stumble to kitchen, turn on coffee maker, and then stumble to bathroom.

6. Get cup of coffee, stumble to office. If laptop is on kitchen table, sit down and welcome myself to my new office for the day.

7. Turn on laptop. Wait patiently for Bill Gates’ creation to come to life hopefully!

8. Fumble for cigarette. Then remember that I quit smoking years ago. Curse self for quitting.

9. Open email. Delete all mail promising “Bigger this, and Better that”. Neatly move all work related mail into “I’ll get to it when I’m awake” folder.

10. Take a sip of coffee and start opening my mail.

This is how my morning starts every day. But today was a special day because it was 796th day in a row that I’ve gotten to do it! Lucky me!

But wait, what’s this? An email from Fuel My Blog. It seems I was awarded the Blog of the Day award! Well, holy crap. What a nice way to start my day! I felt pretty good at being awarded this prestigious award because it made me feel that at least “some” people were reading my rants and observations of all things “ViceZilla like.”

So to everybody out there that has “Fueled my Blog”, thank you!
