Bush Administration Subpoenas Michael Moore over trip to Cuba
The Bush administration has subpoenaed Moore over his trip to Cuba with 9/11 rescue workers, which he included in his new documentary film, “SiCKO.”
For the filming of the documentary “SiCKO, Michael Moore took sick 9/11 workers to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba seeking free medical attention for them.
In the film, Moore shouts into a loudspeaker “The rescue workers just want medical attention, the same kind Al Qaeda is getting!” In an attempt to persuade security guards into letting the workers in for treatment.
In May, the Treasury Department launched an investigation into his trip to examine whether he violated restrictions on travel to Cuba.
This is getting ridiculous! Is this Bush’s way of getting revenge for the Congressional subpoenas? What a bunch of fools!
My advice to Michael Moore is to not even bother showing up. What’s good for the Goose is good for the Gander!
