Which buffoon approved this building?

The US Navy is planning to spend up to $600,000 to give a barracks a makeover after images on Google Earth showed they resemble a swastika from the air.

Navy officials said the resemblance to a Nazi swastika went unnoticed by the public for decades until the advent of Google Earth.

Aerial photos available from the internet company revealed the shape of the complex to a wide audience of computer users, and sparked concern from bloggers.

Somewhere, sometime, somebody must have seen the architect’s plan for this building before it was approved to be built, and you can’t tell me that nobody noticed the resemblance to the swastika, but it was approved anyway.

Even in the sixties, Government bureaucrats were buffoons too!

These men need to be apprehended for Madison’s sake

Nevada authorities on Friday identified a man they want to question as they search for a young girl shown being sexually assaulted in a homemade videotape.

Chester Arthur Stiles, 34, was being called a “person of interest” in the search for a girl with haunting eyes who authorities believe was 4 or 5 years old when she was raped and sexually assaulted in the video, Nye County Sheriff Tony DeMeo said.

The lowest of the lowliest kind of criminal is one who sexually abuses children, period.
The person or persons responsible for doing these things to Madison need to be caught.

Somebody somewhere knows the whereabouts of Stiles and the person seen in the video brutally molesting Madison, and they should come forward to help get these vermin off the streets, not only for Madison’s sake but for all children.

Have you seen this scum?

If you have seen any of these people, please call your local law enforcement agency. Madison will thank you for it.

Springsteen calls out Bush. The power of song, ya gotta love it!

There’s really nothing to comment about this clip from his appearance on NBC this morning. Bruce says it all. Enjoy!

There is right. There is wrong. Then there is Conservative Politics

This is the biggest load of crap I’ve heard coming from the Senate in a long time now.

It seems there are a few Republicans facing election fights next year, so they are rallying around war legislation calling for an end to U.S. combat in Iraq, but only AFTER Bush is almost out of office!

That’s awfully brave of these “maverick” politicians isn’t it? Come out and agree that the U.S. military should end their combat role in Iraq, but only after their Boss is gone! The brave republicans are ready to take up the fight to end the war, only they want to participate after their enemy has folded up the tent! Disgusting.

What a bunch of spineless politicians. Come election time, these people should be voted out of office on principle alone.

Co-sponsors of the bill include Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, Elizabeth Dole of North Carolina and Norm Coleman of Minnesota. Of the sponsors, only Voinovich is not up for re-election in 2008. If these bums are on your ballot next year, I hope you will do the right thing and ignore them!

Judge Rules Provisions in Patriot Act to Be Illegal

A federal judge in Oregon ruled Wednesday that crucial parts of the USA Patriot Act were not constitutional because they allowed federal surveillance and searches of Americans without demonstrating probable cause.

“For over 200 years, this nation has adhered to the rule of law , with unparalleled success,” Judge Aiken’s opinion said in finding violations of the Fourth Amendment prohibitions against unreasonable search and seizure. “A shift to a nation based on extraconstitutional authority is prohibited, as well as ill advised.”

The Constitution of the United States of America; IT LIVES! Don’t tell Bush though, his meddling has hurt the rules of this country long enough!
