George H.W. Bush: I get my News from Faux News

George Herbert Walker Bush sums up his education level with one sentence, “I used to pick up that paper, and turn on the Fox and listen to the news, and say “listen to this, look at this so-and-so, why’s he saying that?” I don’t do that anymore.”

Bush Senior was doing an interview on Fox News’ new series called “American Leaders” Sunday when he divulged his favorite source for news of the world.

I’m almost certain that all televisions in the White House are tuned to Faux News then the knobs are ripped off, and the remotes securely locked away in Cheney’s office safe. How else could this Administration go through their daily routines feeling like they are an efficient team? If your only source of news happens to be deeply slanted, as is Faux News, then you can consider yourself brainwashed.

In another tidbit of information spewed by the former President, he gleefully warns of another wave of Bushes that may enter public office. George P. Bush, son of Jeb Bush. (You remember Jeb? He was instrumental in giving George W. the White House the first time around.) has been groomed to be a loyal Bushie since the early age of 12, where he spoke at the Republican National Convention in 1988.

Then there’s Pierce Bush, son of Neil Bush who worked on George W’s campaign in 2004.

These revelations from Bush H. made my DEFBUSH security meter go straight to Plaid!
A whole new clan of loyal Bushies wanting to enter public office is a scary thought! I enjoyed the antics of the Clampetts on television; I don’t want to see them in the Whitehouse!
