McCain’s New Campaign Strategy: Political Suicide
In what can only be considered political suicide by John McCain, he has firmly placed his nose up the backside of President Bush. “I’d be honored to be anywhere with him under any circumstances,” he tells a news conference after receiving former President H.W. Bush’s endorsement.
Obviously McCain is desperate for support by the hard core Conservative Bloc, so he is cozying up with the ‘worst President in history” in hopes of securing their votes. As long as McCain is standing in Bush’s shadow, it will remind the voters of this country that he is another Bush policy proponent. And we all know how well Bush’s policies have affected this country, and the world.
After the RNC put all it’s eggs in the McCain basket, now they are stuck with him as the only Candidate to run for President against either Hillary or Barrack or a yet to be determined ’sleeper’ candidate. Ever since Romney pulled out of the race, McCain has been under the Republican pundits’ microscope for not being “Republican enough.” And if McCain is delusional enough to think that him crawling into bed with Bush can improve his popularity, he really is nuts!
All I can say is, ‘good decision John!’ Keep rubbing elbows with the good ol’ Republican boys club, its the best thing you could do for this country.
