McCain Twists Off On Reporter, Proving Again Why He’s Not President Material

When asked about a conversation he had with Senator John Kerry in 2004, McCain showed why he’s known as a ‘hothead’, by taking a tone of total indignance towards the reporter and the question, he just proved that he does not have the temperament to be President of the United States.

In response to the question of whether he had spoken to Democratic Sen. John Kerry about being his vice president in 2004, he responded with “Everybody knows that I had a private conversation. Everybody knows that, that I had a conversation,” McCain told the reporter. “And you know it, too. No. You know it, too. No. You do know. You do know.” The reporter then reminded him that in a 2004 story he denied talking to Kerry, at which point he interrupted her saying that everyone knew he had a private conversation, and he kept interrupting as she tried to follow up.

If this is his reaction when dealing with a reporter about an incident that happened four years ago, maybe somebody should tell him that the questions he’ll be asked as President (if he were to be the President) will be a lot tougher! This only reinforces an article over at salon which details his temperament and how it sits with a few military leaders that voice their concerns if he were to be the Commander in Chief.

“I like McCain. I respect McCain. But I am a little worried by his knee-jerk response factor,” said retired Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton, who was in charge of training the Iraqi military from 2003 to 2004 and is now campaigning for Clinton. “I think it is a little scary. I think this guy’s first reactions are not necessarily the best reactions. I believe that he acts on impulse.”

Great! After seven years of a President basically telling us to go F&%K ourselves, the prospect of another one is anything but encouraging. Keep it up John, this will only help to ensure that there won’t be another 3rd Bush term!
