Clinton Camp Won’t Let Bosnia Trip Die. Why?

Enough is enough already, right? If anybody would want the “sniper fire” story to disappear it would be the Clinton camp, right? Well, obviously not because for some twisted, impossible to explain reason, one of Hillary’s advisers has deemed it necessary to give it one more kick, put lipstick on it, and parade it out there again for all to come to the same conclusion as before.

In an op-ed piece in the New York Times today, Lissa Muscatine, one of Hillary’s current campaign advisors, and Melanne Verveer, Hillary’s former chief of staff, who both accompanied Hillary on her fateful Bosnia trip in 1996 try to make a case for Hillary by explaining that even though Hillary was wrong about the landing in Bosnia, there were plenty of other opportunity’s for them to dodge sniper fire.

This story is history. It’s been hashed, re-hashed, dissected, and scrutinized by everybody and their dog. So why in the world would anybody in the Hillary camp want it to keep breathing? Hillary should tell Ms. Muscatine what she should have told Geraldine Ferraro, “Keep the pie hole shut!”
