Obama Able to Tell ‘Uncomfortable Truths’

According to Barrack Obama’s half sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, Barrack is ready to be America’s first black president because he is prepared to tell uncomfortable truths. “Even when it isn’t convenient or when it would generate discomfort with family, friends, or co-workers,” she told The Sunday Telegraph.

“I know that I have only ever known him to tell the truth and he has done this time and again when doing so was difficult,”

When asked about Barrack being accused of using his grandmother as an election tool to win support after the Rev. Jeremiah Wright fiasco, she replied referring to Barrack’s speech afterwards, “the frankness of these words was typical of Mr Obama’s honest approach to life.” She also added that, “Our grandmother loves Barack a great deal and is entirely supportive.”

She went on: “I lived with him during the summer of 1986 and watched him work as an activist and organiser. He mobilised people and moved them with both pragmatism and idealism. He challenged people without being acrimonious. He made people less apathetic.
