Hats off to Senator Joe Biden for not only asking the tough question, but demanding and getting an honest answer from Ambassador Crocker. It has become a staple in the Bush Administration’s reasoning that al-Qaeda in Iraq is the central front in it’s war against all that we hold near and dear to our hearts in America. So whenever the subject of troop withdrawal comes into the conversation, it is because of this threat that the Bush Administration needs to keep our military involved in the quagmire that is Iraq.

Well, Sen. Biden punched a hole so big in that reasoning today, you could drive a tank through it! I’m sure that much to the chagrin of Bush, Ambassador Crocker finally answered Sen. Biden’s question, only I don’t think Bush intended his answer to be an honest one!
