Iraq to U.S: Bend Over, This won’t Hurt A Bit

So my rant from this morning just gets longer and longer. My big question was what exactly are we getting in return for country’s our blood and treasure being squandered in in the Bush created cess-pool called Iraq? The answer is a big resounding “Sweet FA”!

With our money being vacuumed up by the Shop-Vac called the “War in Iraq”, one would think there would be some sort of return on investment, right? Nope, not even close. Apparently Iraq has no sense of “loyalty” towards the sacrifices this country has made towards its so-called “liberation.” Granted, this whole Iraq mess shouldn’t have happened in the first place for so many reasons on so many different levels, but it did. So how does Iraq Iraq repay us?

Well, first they start by continuing to take our money to finance their war. Yes, its their war now, as the fighting seems to be largely between different factions of Iraqis. Shia, Sunni, Kurd, and some al-Qaeda insurgents thrown in for good measure. Google John McCain’s speeches on the subject if you want to know more about the who’s who in Iraq, he’s the expert. Iraqi fighting Iraqi makes it a civil dispute, thus the Iraq government should be financing their little spat, not us!

The next thing they do to show their gratification, make billions of dollars from their oil exports and squirrel the money away in banks all over the world. You know, kind of a “rainy day” fund. Why should they spend their money on a war they didn’t start in the first place, right?

And lastly, the most endearing thing they have done to us, the U.S. taxpayer is decide to give a nice big fat multi-million dollar arms contract to of all countries, Serbia! You remember them, they are the ones that burned down our embassy in February! Ingrates!

The Serbian Defence Ministry will be selling to the Iraq Defence Ministry a total of $235 million worth of goodies, including aircraft, weapons, and bulletproof vests.

Well now that it seems the Serbs are taking care of the Iraq soldier’s military needs, to the tune of $235 million dollars, I think its time for our military to pick up it’s toys, and get the hell out of their sandbox!

Ingrates!
