Clinton Plays the Victim, And Gets Booed

The firestorm that Hillary wanted to create is starting to come back and bite her in the ass. All weekend long she’s been pouring gas on Obama’s ‘bitter’ the remark, hoping that the fire will destroy his chances to win Pennsylvania’s primary next week. Only three days after the remarks were made public, Hillary seems to be fanning an already dead fire.

Try as she might to keep ‘bittergate’ alive, the Pennsylvania voters have had enough of her antics. while speaking to the American Manufacturing forum in Pittsburgh on Monday, she started out by saying she wanted to focus on solutions and the problems Americans are facing. But then she tried to come off as the victim by saying, “I understand my opponent came this morning and spent a lot of his time attacking me. I know that many of you, like me, were disappointed, by recent remarks he made.”

The crowd seemed less than receptive to her remarks by booing, and heckling her as she tried to speak. Judging by the reaction on her face as she stopped to let the jeers die down, hopefully she realized that she’s making a mockery of her campaign by stooping to such low tactics.

According to various news sources, her claims of Obama’s remarks having insulted voters in Pennsylvania seem to be grossly inaccurate. In interviews in Pennsylvania communities, Democrats on both sides of the fence seemed to be divided. But for the most part, voters seemed to have had enough of the bickering over the remarks.
One person interviewed, Armon Richardson, summed it up perfectly with this statement:

“We’re getting in the silly season.”

Yes, yes we are getting into the silly season of this race!

To make matters worse for Hillary, hot on the heels of Obama’s remarks, she made this television ad expounding on how his remarks have alienated the Pennsylvania voter. There’s only one problem with the ad though. One would think that when making an ad to resemble the feel of interviewing common everyday people on the street, you wouldn’t make them read from cue-cards that sound like they came right from Hillary’s last speech!
