Poll: Clinton Not Trustworthy

Clinton’s poll numbers just seem to keep going down. Is it any wonder that in a new poll from ABC News and the Washington Post, the majority of respondents find Clinton untrustworthy?

Clinton is viewed as “honest and trustworthy” by just 39 percent of Americans, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, compared with 52 percent in May 2006. Nearly six in 10 said in the new poll that she is not honest and trustworthy. And now, compared with Obama, Clinton has a deep trust deficit among Democrats, trailing him by 23 points as the more honest, an area on which she once led both Obama and John Edwards.

Clinton has only herself to blame for her dropping popularity as she struggles to keep up with Obama’s rolling campaign. One valuable lesson she could stand to learn that would help her cause is “If your going to talk about dodging sniper fire, the bullets better be real.”

The real question is unless she finally admits defeat and drops out of the race, a notion that is highly unlikely. What will her next tactic be now that her uproar of Obama’s “bitter” remarks have backfired?

  1. I’m surprised she even scored as high as she did. The way that 2-faced asshole has been flipflopping and rewriting history, how could anyone trust her?
