The media is all agog about Hillary’s “Big” win in Pennsylvania last night. I fail to see the “big” part of the win. Pennsylvania was a state she was expected to win anyway, the only question was by how much was she going to win by. After leading in the polls by as much as 22 points, she eked out the win by a mere 9.4. Hardly a double digit win that she was projected to win by at the start of the Pa. campaign. If anything, it could be considered a decisive win by Obama for whittling away her large lead in the polls, but the media doesn’t see it like that.

So Hillary is now touting a renewed campaign with momentum on her side, but she’s lacking one very important ingredient in the mix. Money! After her win in Pennsylvania, the Clinton camp claims to have raised $10 million in the 24 hours after her she was declared the winner. Good for her, but she’s still way behind Obama in the piggy bank department. In March alone, Clinton raised almost $21 million in contributions compared to Obama’s nearly $43 million. Obama out raises her by a margin of 2 to 1, what does that tell you about popularity?

In light of her new found momentum, Hillary is begging her supporters to “max out” their donations, because “we have to raise a lot of money, and I can’t do this without your help.” I would think that if her campaign was going like gangbusters, the money would be flowing in by the bucket-fulls, but I guess in Hillary’s world, the momentum needs a bigger jump start than $10 million can provide.

So for anybody out there who is still considering throwing money into Hillary’s campaign, she will be “forever grateful” if you can give the maximum amount! At least when I buy a homeless person lunch, I get a “God bless you” instead of a phony I’ll be “forever grateful.”
