There must be a severe shortage of quality television news hosts for CNN to keep Glenn Beck on their payroll!
Besides being a right wing media idiot, he sure seems to have a fascination with the AntiChrist. During an interview with Pastor John Hagee this morning on CNN Headline News, he claims to receive a lot of email on whether or not Bill Clinton is the AntiChrist, then asks if Barrack Obama could be as well, in which Hagee responds “no chance!” You can then hear Glenn gush a sigh of relief in the background.
He must have been worried that somebody else could be moving in on his “AntiChrist” turf. Not to worry Glenn, you still are the AntiChrist, how the hell else could you keep your job at CNN?

End of story? Not quite. What made this situation even worse was Rush immedietly went into “ignorance” mode, claiming that he never knew who curious George was. Hmmm, I find it interesting that when the Curious George character came out in 1941, Rush would have been 10 years old! What kid doesn’t remember Curious George? Either Rush has a very bad memory, a childhood devoid of books, or he is lying. I wonder which one it could be?
I guess he must have sensed that he wasn’t deep enough in a hole, so he decided to start digging. He offered an apology to Obama and McCain regarding the remark and his resulting chuckle afterwards. If it ended there, all would probably have been forgiven, but it didn’t. Rush, as if he was just caught with his hand in the cookie jar, spent waaaay too much time and effort trying to explain how he never heard of Curious George. Just over 7 minutes of listening to Rush defend himself, and his childhood cartoon watching behavior!
One minute was fine, two minutes was pushing it, by the time seven minutes rolled around you knew he was trying too hard!
Listening to Rush plead his case of ignorance is very reminiscent of George W. pleading for retroactive immunity for the telecoms who may have legally broken the law!
I thought Gennifer Flowers’ 15 minutes of fame came and went in 1992, but just like a bad acid flashback she has returned thinking she is relevant! And what possible reasons could Gennifer want to crawl out from under the rock of obscurity for? The publicity over her alleged taped conversations with Bill Clinton during their 12-year affair. Yeesh, when will this woman give it up already?
Claiming her only reasons for putting the tapes on the auction block are for her future financial security, and not to hurt Hillary’s Democratic nomination campaign, “I don’t need to hurt Hillary. She is doing a fine job of that herself, along with her idiot husband. Karma is an interesting thing. If these two don’t get elected, and they are a team, it will be karma coming back to visit them. It’s about time.”
She claims to have received “renewed interest” in the tapes which made her decide to put them up for auction. She also claims to have been offered $5 million by a Japanese collector in the 1990’s. “I certainly would enjoy the money for my future security. I don’t have any guarantee what might be coming,” she said.
Damn, $5 million for recorded messages which some claim may have been doctored! I think Gennifer missed the boat by not selling to the Japanese collector! Somehow I don’t think the tapes are worth a plugged nickel to anybody anymore. Why pay for old news right?
“What is Fox News? It’s just a parade of propaganda, isn’t it? It’s just a festival of ignorance,” Lee Camp, a guest on Fox & Friends said to the host yesterday at the end of his interview. The look on the host’s face was priceless, and the best he could do was quickly move to the next story, a piece on Star Trek’s Captain Kirk.
I guess that is the best Fox can due when faced with the truth!
During her speech to the Young America’s Foundation, Ann referred to Barack Obama as “B. Hussein Obama” and asserted, “His strongest selling point is that he is one of the least dangerous people I know named Hussein.” She then went on to say “Other than that, Barack’s really been kind of coasting on his record, since his first big accomplishment of being born half-black. I keep hearing people say, ‘Oh, Obama could never be elected because he’s half-black. You know, ’cause we’re just such a racist country.’ What are they talking about? He wouldn’t be running for president if he weren’t half-black. He’d be Dick Durbin with less experience.”
Last year during her speech to CPAC, said she could not “really talk about” Edwards because “you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot.’ ” Ever since then its been all downhill for poor ol’ Ann. And rightfully so I might ad!
I would like think that her brain (if you could find it in that swollen head of her’s) isn’t connected to her mouth, but if that were the case she would sound more like President Bush than a desperate political right pundit trying to resurrect her career. A career that is quickly finding it’s way under the rock of obscurity. She can’t sell her book if her life depended on it, publications are dropping her columns like wildfire, and her appearances on the news shows are getting to be few and far between. Why? Because she really has nothing to say. Nothing constructive anyway.
Whenever I listen to her speak, and trust me when I tell you that it is a painful ordeal for me, I can’t figure out if she’s trying to be serious or if she’s working on her stand up comedy routine. The insults she hurls towards her enemies are rather pathetic for a person who is seen in the public eye. Lewis Black and George Carlin can pull this kind of stuff off because they are definitely more in the know than Ann ever will be. Plus there always is a seed of truth to their routines. Ann’s bits on the other hand, all seem to be desperate attempts to garner laughter.
So what’s next for Ann? Who knows, as long as she goes away and keeps her mouth shut.
