As far as “Darwin” awards go, what Charles Ray Fuller tried to do would require a completely new category.
If you were going to forge a check and take it to the bank to cash, how much would you make it out for? Obviously if you were smart (well, maybe not “smart,” because if you were smart you wouldn’t be forging a check in the first place!), you wouldn’t go “too” overboard so as to not raise any suspicions, right? A couple of hundred, or maybe even a thousand depending on who the account holder is. Or maybe just enough to buy a few tanks of gas and a package of Ding-Dongs.
I would think trying to cash a hand written check in the amount of $360 billion is enough to raise a few red flags at the local bank!
Charles Ray Fuller, a 21 year old North Texas man idiot tried to cash a forged check for $360 billion, claiming that his girlfriend’s mother gave it to him to start a record business. Obviously he was arrested for forgery his own safety, and released on $3,750 bail.
Bank employees, after seeing the check immediately called the account owner, who of course denied giving Fuller permission to A) take the check, or B) cash the check. My big question is however, why didn’t the bank tellers laugh hysterically at the man trying to cash the check, unless of course she has that kind of cash languishing in her account!
Sphere: Related ContentThere’s nothing really too funny about this video, other than a Fox News reporter runs into a little bit of trouble using a simple B&E tool.
Be warned though, these tools used to break into your house are available to anybody who wants them. And the only people who want them use them for no good! To counteract the criminals who use these tools to gain entry into your house, I recommend a nice, quiet Doberman!
All seriousness aside though, this poor schmuck shows that even a criminal needs a little bit of skill.
