World Opinion of US Must Be Increasing, Good Thing Mrs. Bush Put An End To That

WTF got Laura Bush’s undies all ruffled that she felt compelled to kick Burma’s/Myanmar’s government in the nuts? There is a time and place for everything, and Laura Bush obviously got that rule all messed up when she decided to criticize Myanmar’s government while they are still reeling from the deadly effects of the cyclone that leveled their country four days ago.

The latest estimates coming out of the country say that 22,000 people lost their lives, 41,000 are missing, and possibly 1 million are left homeless. A human tragedy situation of epic proportions are left in the cyclone’s wake, but instead of the First Lady showing compassion, she rather takes the opportunity to insult the leader’s of Myanmar by blaming them for the high death toll.

Did Jenna put her foot down and not let her mother get her way while making final preparations for the wedding, so she felt compelled to lash out at somebody?

Taking this opportunity to politicize a natural disaster, with so many lives being effected just shows how out of touch she is with everything outside of her personal little world! Disgusting display of “I am First Lady, hear me roar” rhetoric! She proved that she was way out of touch with the people of New Orleans after the Katrina catastrophe. So why did she feel it was necessary to prove it again?

Take your medication Laura, soon all will be perfect in your world again! You husband does a fine job of embarrassing this country on his own, he doesn’t need your help!

Schwarzenegger Knows All About Being An Elitist

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is very concerned about state legislators from “little towns,” because they don’t often get a chance to see “worldly things,” like an airport.

Speaking at an infrastructure conference hosted by billionaire Michael Milken, Gov. Putzenbetter regaled the audience of the hardships endured by his “small town” political colleagues:

“And that’s why I always encourage the legislators in Sacramento, because some of them come from those little towns,” Schwarzenegger said. “You know what I’m saying? They come from those little towns, and they don’t have that vision yet of an airport or of a highway that maybe has 10 lanes. Or of putting a highway on top of a highway. They look at you and say, ‘Well, we don’t have that in my town, what are you talking about?’ So they are kind of shocked when you say certain things.”

A ten lane what? Naw, he’s kidding right? A highway On top of another highway? Is the good Governor of California on glue or something? Who ever heard of such a story? A highway on top of a highway! And what’s this “airport” thing he’s talking about?

Yeah, if your looking for a chest to pin the “I’m a proud Elitist” pin onto, the Gov. is your man! I wonder if the press will jump all over this one like they did for Obama’s comments? Who am I kidding? There are some politicians who actually are elitist, so why would the press hound them?

McCain is Still Stuck in the 50’s

As reported by Think Progress, John McCain claims besides “opening up employers to lawsuits,” the reason he is against the Fair Pay Act is because women simply need “education and training.”

“They need the education and training, particularly since more and more women are heads of their households, as much or more than anybody else,” McCain said. “And it’s hard for them to leave their families when they don’t have somebody to take care of them.

As McCain leaves himself swinging from the rope he just put around his neck, I have a few questions. 1) Is he smoking crack? 2) Just what year exactly does he think we are living in? 3) Can he say “Do you want fries with that?” because his presidential run should be over.

I think John will need to use two of his “senior moment” cards to get out of this one! There’s a big difference between a woman who stays home and manges the household because she wants too, as opposed to the woman who enters the work force to earn a living!

What a putz.

McCain: No Equal Pay For Women

John McCain, the so-called “maverick” is against equal pay for equal work! Much like his stand on the torture issue, he goes against the things that will truly benefit the people of this country, and only sticks up for the things that will benefit his corporate cronies. And once again he has proven this fact.

While campaigning in poverty stricken cities and towns, he said that he opposes a senate bill that seeks equal pay for women because it would lead to more lawsuits. His Republican colleagues killed the bill Wednesday night that would have advanced it to a full debate and vote. But instead, the Republicans kept big business’ interests the main priority.

“I am all in favor of pay equity for women, but this kind of legislation, as is typical of what’s being proposed by my friends on the other side of the aisle, opens us up to lawsuits for all kinds of problems. This is government playing a much, much greater role in the business of a private enterprise system.

McCain claims to be his own man, but he sure plays politics like Bush does. “Screw the little guy, and protect big business,” should be the campaign slogan for 4 more years of Bush policies!

Where’s the media uproar now? I wonder if the media will jump all over McCain for his blatant discrimination against the wages of working woman, or will they give him a free pass again?

McCain Claims America’s Problems Are Psychological

Straight from the straight talker himself, McCain says that “a lot of our problems today” are “psychological.” And to get us all out of our “psychological funk,” he is proposing that the government rescind it’s 18 cent gasoline tax in order to “give us a tax vacation” while at the pumps!

Wow, a whole 18 cents off of $3.59 a gallon! John, you big spender you! Lets see, 18 cents from $3.59 still leaves me paying $3.41 cents a gallon. Enough left over for me to buy some ice cream on the way home!

Americans are in a psychological tiz because of the way the Bush Administration has psychotically governed this country for the past 8 years, which if elected President he will continue for another 4 years. Temporarily eliminating the 18 cent tax will do sweet piss all for us psychologically. How about suggesting some real, permanent fixes to the problems this Administration has heaped on this country instead? That would give us a psychological boost!
