Bolton Says Bush should Bomb Iran, Definitely

Where do these Bushies come up with these fantastic ideas? Former UN Ambassador John Bolton discusses his desire to bomb training camps inside Iran, stating “This is entirely responsible on our part.”

Responsible? Yeah, like we’ve seen how ‘responsible’ the Bushies were when they bombed Iraq. There were so many WMDs in Iraq that they couldn’t find them after the dust settled. Yeah, real ‘responsible!’ Now there is speculation, at least according to Bolton, that Bush will bomb the training camps before the end of his term. Wonderful! Create another international incident by bombing the shit out of some rocks and sand in the Iranian desert somewhere to really, really leave your mark before leaving office!

I wonder if he realizes that the supposed training camps inside Iran that would be on his hit list are probably not close to any major populated cites or towns, but rather a few tents in the middle of somewhere close to nowhere in Iran. So Bush is planning on dropping a few bombs worth probably several million dollars on a few patches of desert that may or may not contain the training camps he thinks they contain, in hopes of destroying the camps’ infrastructure, causing it to cease to exist? Oh please!

The least the Bush Administration could do after the loving 7 year trusting relationship we’ve had together is give us a little more credit! Taking out a few tents in a desert somewhere is not what the plan is, but rather Iran’s nuclear facilities is! Unless, of course Iran’s nuclear facilities are enclosed in tents in the middle of a desert somewhere, in which case I stand corrected! The only reason he probably hasn’t already started the bombing is because we are waiting for China to take their lien off the bombs he wants to drop!

Besides Bush’s love for making things go “boom,” the other reason his approval ratings are so low is because he has hard time telling us the truth!

Perino Continues To Spew False Statements About Torture

I swear one of these days Hearst News Columnist Helen Thomas is going to get up and smack White House spokesman Dana Perino upside the head because of her Bush cheerleading shenanigans! Perino would have it coming too, especially from Thomas.

During today’s White House briefing, Thomas questioned how the White House was going to reconcile the credibility gap created when Bush finally admitted that he approved the use of torture, after vehemently denying it for so long. Perino’s response was the typical “pussy foot approach,” which only frustrated Thomas even more.

(Please open the article to see the flash file or player.)

How Perino can continue to spew the lies for her Boss is incomprehensible, but she does it. She’s such a good loyal Bushie! The “torture” cat is out of the bag, and everybody admits it except for maybe a handful of loyal Bushie’s and of course Perino herself. The big question though, is where is the uproar over this Administration’s transgressions? The media certainly has been very quiet about the illegal acts by the Bush Administration when it approved the use of torture.

Has it gotten so bad that after all the illegal B.S. the Bush Administration has put this country through that we have become desensitized to any further wrong doings? He’s worn us out? We just don’t give a shit anymore? Are we only able to stand idly by and let this Administration continue its assault on us, and the Constitution because we have given up the fight against what’s right and wrong? Somehow Bush and his cronies have taken away our will to defend our rights, and now in the final months of his presidency we seem to be only too happy to bide our time and wait for him to exit gracefully.

Bill Clinton got impeached for lying about a blow job, but Bush can get away with state sponsored torture without so much as anybody in Washington missing a breath! Such a sad state of affairs this has become, truly sad.

81% of Americans Feel Government Should Heed Poll Results

In a recent World Public Opinion poll, 81% of Americans feel their voices should be heard by the Government through opinion polls. Only 18% believe the Government should ignore the polls citing, “this will distract them from deciding what they think is right.”

The above 18% are obviously the same people who feel Bush is doin’ a heck of a job! They should be reminded that it is the will of the people that should direct the Government, not the other way around.

This poll gives some good advice to the next Administration. Too bad this Government doesn’t read polls, or else they would know what kind of a job we think they are doing!

Uncomfortable Looking McCain Accepts Bush’s Endorsement

John McCain’s honeymoon after getting his party’s nomination came to a screeching halt today as he received President Bush’s endorsement at the White House.

John McCain looked very uncomfortable and at times agitated as the President was speaking, and I can’t say I blame him, as Bush sounded like he was going to be passing the torch to himself as the next President! After rudely cutting McCain off during his acceptance speech, Bush put himself in center stage and acted like this was his day in the spotlight.

As the press was asking questions, Bush hardly let McCain get a word in edgewise. A reporter asked the pair how McCain would make the case that you’re going to provide the change that the voters seem to want. Bush quickly and rudely cut in and declared “McCain is not going change.”

To be fair, I’m not a McCain supporter, but seeing as he’s the man who will be trying to keep the White House in Republican hands next year, the best thing he can do for himself and the Republican party is stay as far away from Bush as possible. If the conduct of the President today is any indication of what McCain can expect from him in terms of endorsements, he’s doomed. Bush is going to be McCain’s kryptonite.

Watch the press conference from the White House in full, and watch McCain’s face and mannerisms as Bush steals his glory.
