Biased Media Shouldn’t Throw Stones

The ever so righteous Fox News network has thrown down the gauntlet by accusing MSNBC of being liberal biased!

Deborah Norville, a guest on Fox News’ Fox and Friends had this to say, “Call me crazy, I majored in journalism, it’s why I got into this business in the first point, and no news organization should have a political bent. It should be, “just the facts ma’am’ and let the viewers decide.”

I’ll agree that MSNBC tends to lean towards the left, but who in the hell does Faux News think they are by criticizing them? Faux News hosts kooks like O’Reilly and Hannity who are so right leaning they need a cane to walk upright! Faux News is in no position to accuse another network of political bias.

I guess it’s true that you can’t see the shit pile when you are standing in it!

Karl Rove all of a sudden has lots of opinions to share

Karl Rove, or “Bush’s Brain” as some like to call him sure has had a lot to say ever since he left the sanctuary of the White House’s West Wing.

After being protected under the much abused “Executive Privilege” security blanket which protected him from answering questions from Congress regarding the many scandals that have come from the Bush Administration, it seems now that he can’t keep his mouth shut. Unfortunately, what he has to say nowadays is mindless babble anyway.

This Sunday, Rove will appear on Face the Nation, Meet the Press, and Fox News Sunday to answer a variety of questions he no doubt will have approved prior to them being asked.

What will the media ask him? I wonder, I really really wonder? Will they ask him about the leak of Valerie Plame’s identity? Or his involvement in the firing of U.S. Attorneys? Or how about all of those emails that mysteriously disappeared?

The list goes on and on about all the questions that need to be asked and answered, but will they? I guess we’ll have to wait and see, but my gut feeling is that they will not.

Rather, we’ll have to sit and listen to him preach about how evil Hillary Clinton is, and the reasons she won’t make for a good president. Or maybe we’ll get treated to the inside scoop of Karl’s favorite flavor ice cream he liked to serve at his famous “ice cream Friday’s” at the White House!

So check your TV listings in your area, maybe there will be a good pre-season football game on instead, otherwise it’ll be another “there’s nothing good on TV” kind of Sunday.

Gonzales is a liar, and has to go

Alberto Gonzales has caught himself in his own web of lies. As with all liars, sooner or later they can’t remember which lies they’ve told to cover up previous lies and they end up falling face first into the shit pile they’ve created. Well, Abu is up to his bottom lip in shit.

As reported in the NY Times, July 25, 2007:

At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Mr. Gonzales repeatedly testified that the subject of the emergency meeting on March 10, 2004, was not the terrorist surveillance program (aka the TSP), which allowed the National Security Agency to eavesdrop on suspects in the United States without receiving court approval.

Instead, he said, the meeting focused on another intelligence program he would not describe.

But a four-page memorandum from the national intelligence director’s office, obtained by The Associated Press, shows that the White House briefing was about the surveillance program.

What makes it even worse, is that when asked for a comment Wednesday, a Justice Department spokesman, Brian Roehrkasse, said Mr. Gonzales “stands by his testimony.”

The gun is smoking! What else is it going to take before this band of liars, crooks, and thieves get booted out of the Whitehouse?

Wolfowitz just refuses to go away!

In another pathetic attempt to save his job, World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz will appear before a special panel on Monday to discuss a promotion and raise he arranged for Shaha Riza, his girlfriend.

This guy is dragging himself through the mud! I’m actually starting to feel embarrassed for him!

One more time Mr. Wolfowitz: You brought this mess upon yourself. Free Shaha and yourself from ‘the persecution’ and resign. Quit whining and be a man for God’s sake!

Maybe he’s developed some sort of psychological problem from licking his comb too much? I mean really; who licks their comb before running it through their hair? If you’ve got a hair control problem Paul, tell Shaha to use conditioner after she shampoos your locks!

Wolfowitz hires lawyer. This just proves he’s guilty!

Paul Wolfowitz has hired a high profile lawyer hoping to prove to the World Bank Committee that he was not unethical in directing a promotion for his girlfriend.

It seems Mr. Wolfowitz is delusional in his thinking. The dictionary defines unethical as: Adj.1.unethical - not conforming to approved standards of social or professional behavior; “unethical business practices.”

Yes, Mr. Wolfowitz you are unethical. You abused your position as president of the World Bank by promoting and approving generous pay raises for your companion Shaha Riza, without following the Bank’s rules and guidelines. You acted on your own.

President Bush has remained a staunch supporter of Wolfowitz throughout this ordeal. Bush has also publicly stated his support for Gonzalez, another of his cronies who has broken the law, and brought shame to the United States Constitution. Why is Bush so adamant about supporting these buffoons? Gonzalez probably has some good dirt on Bush, Cheney, and Rove, among others; so you can almost understand why he is protecting him. But Wolfowitz?
